Wow, great to see fun conversations about my setup.
Here is the breakdown of your questions:
-I scored the TV free off craigslist. you can have it with the system if you like.

The TV is definitely older than the system. That little one is just a karaoke TV.
-The sound system is about 8-10 years old, and still louder and cleaner than most setups you will find out there today.
-"best in the west" was coined from a well traveled member of Community Trance that had attended multiple events around the world. This 7000 watt system has beat 35,000 watt systems (Tonka system for example, they moved the main event from Tonka to mine system after hearing what it could do)
-I had sold the system about 18 months ago, however he couldn't make all his payments and I had to repossess some of the assets. This is what is remaining. I originally was selling 10,000 watts plus three lighting systems for $17,000... then I sold some lights and the 10,000 watt system was reduced to $10,000... now this is about 7000 watts of sound left for the $4500-$5000 range.
-Renegade: props for your RCF subs and Omnidrive processor, that is nice, quality equipment... but my QSC amps will still put out more power (up to 1000 watts more) while sucking less juice compared to your Crest amps. And those EV tops are loud, but at no comparison to the Klipsch horns I drive with my system. The parabolic curve to the tratrix horn allows for better dispersion without distortion, increasing the dynamic range. My Klipsch top cabinets are 3-way 15s... so essentially I am running a 4-way system compared to your 3-way. Quality over quantity. It would be great to do a setup with you, and we can compare systems room to room. Anyone got a big event where they need two BIG kick ass sound systems to compete against each other?
The half-W manifold of my sub-woofer horns were designed for outdoor applications, or very large rooms. I can get a higher Db sensitivity than the Cerwin Vega SL-36 Earthquake. The compression of the horn design throws the bass right through the crowd, so you still FEEL plenty of bass at the back of the dance floor.
-some of these components were used at BassWave marina, however that main concert system was stolen and pawned off into pieces.
The company sound record was sound complaints spanning two counties, 17 miles from the event. Two
different county sheriffs came to the event because of sound complaints.
RENTAL RATES:
I am tired of moving this stuff. It is much more fun to have for movie nights at my place.
half wave system (2 subs + 4 tops) = $600
BASS Wave full system (4 subs + 6 tops + 2 DJ monitors) = $1000
split the full system between two rooms (+DJ monitors for each room) = $1500
I have brought the purchase price down thousands of dollars. I feel my prices are very fair for such high quality sound. I have full inventories available upon request. The lowest I can go is $4500 for 4 subs, 4 tops, 2 x 3400 watt amps, and all processing, crossovers, and cables needed. $7000 for everything I own. The only thing lower than that would be all 4 subs, + amp, + crossover and cables for $3000.
