Not a very good video card though. Spend at least $125-150 so you can have something that will be able to take load off of your CPU so that it has more freed up for your audio software.

uhh, video cards really dont affect your cpu with audio apps. video games and graphic design... yes.

What I was talking about is that the better the video card is, the less the CPU has to work. A weak video card will slow down a system, because the CPU has to take over what it can't do. I did forget about Newegg though so you can actually get one cheap.

what you're talking about is negligible. Any 128mb card is plenty for audio apps. You may want 512MB+ for modern 3d games and video/graphics rendering, but its unneeded for audio apps because they aren't focusing CPU on graphics to begin with.

It depends. Some VST synths and audio apps have visual things going on. I have an older 128mb video card and sometimes it can't keep up so the CPU takes over and it slows down anything FL studio is doing live.
