oh there we go....

i like the vibe it's got going, but I'm hearing a click or something on the bassline that kinda throws me off.  I know there is a click in the beat, maybe it's that...   could also be the parameter automation tweaks in the bassline.  Something's not sitting right in the mix.

Anyone else hearing that?

Yea, the bass does have some clicks... maybe from audio edits performed on non-zero crossings? If so, just put some fades on the beginning and end... like the first 20-30 ms. If you were using a sampler or synth to trigger the sound, tweak your envelope... give it like 10-20 ms on the attack and the same on the release.

Diggin the vibe... but it feels like there should be some crazy war vet screaming something every now and then... relating to PTSD and all... :D

Good work Digga!

Good work Digga!

so many bass lines to adjust!

after i get near completion of a song i get overwhelmed by the amount of content, and that adjusting one knob may change the entire sound.

def a work in progress, so many samples i could use for this one.

thanks for the advice.

Dude! I totally feel you... it gets pretty crazy. Hence the reason I have so many "I will finish this and update" posts... and I never end up going back to retouch the issues that still exist on the tune. I guess part of me is frightened to get stuck on a track and miss out on new ideas.

Fucking love the vocal wubs, nice job, I do hear that clicking in the bass line.
Other than that.... Everything seems to be amazing.
That damn clicking is horrible.

hmm after another listen, i think that click is the hi-hat. Ill try changing it, or taking it out completely.

Quoted for fucking truth.

Pretty damn good track. I agree with the War Vet quip, definitely gives off that vibe...

Also reminds me of Duke Nukem 3d for some reason ahaha

Word thank you guys.

after a re listen. there is a LOT i can do to this song. basic idea is there but it would be better after refining. especially with 21 different bass synths.

I know how to make nasty basslines now. MOAR!!1 PRACTICE.

update inevitable.

The only thing I would say is finetune the bass a little more. and have more build up sounds when your bass line pauses. and more high hat?
