Soundcloud is laggin like a mofo!

yea they posted something along the top, a little while ago. saying they were going to try and figure something out.

this is a pretty cool track crisis, i would definitely rock it out.
i know its at 140 however it sounds like one of your breaks tracks, (good none the less dont get me wrong)
i think it needs to be a lot more bass heavy to be dubstep.
thats up to you though. it would still sound great within a dubstep set, a nice switch of energy
i really do like it, i was just expecting a more fatter, flatter "driving" bassline, err if that makes sense.
lol i can hear what im trying to say, just cant describe it.
really good track though, i love the vocal sample and the breakdown at 1:50
 ;D

Well, in the middle of the track I do go into a breaks tempo. Switch up the rhythm to a breakbeat, and switch out my drum loops. I did this to try to keep it from getting boring. But I am definitely still getting used to programming dubstep, and as you can tell my breaks roots shine through sometimes.

Thanks for checking it out.

Woo! tunes hot. definitely hearing that crisis sound in this. really really like the flow and vibe, i also like that its short and to the point. the bass seems lacking in the real low end. womp. but that sample is dope. and those horns :o where'd you get those??

never disappointed dude, bigg up.

Thanks for peeping this Digga... Like I said it was mixed in the headphones so I definitely need to do a proper mix and master session. This was quick and done in the headphones. I like to have a day or two away from it before I start that process, so I will definitely be updating this after I have a chance to touch it up.

When I got home and listened to it I noticed things didn't sound quite the way I wanted... like on my monitors there were sounds you couldn't even hear! So a touch up is definitely needed.

The horns are from the built in library in Logic... just did quite a bit of processing on em. Eq, reverb, some crackle from TC Works Destructor to emulate vinyl...

LOL I THINK IM A DJ

Damn son, this choon is a heater, some true dubstep with soul, the song has a nice progression, the accompanying vocal works wonderfully to give the track a darker feel.

I personally love the change up, some of my favorite artists currently use a similar change up. Great job Joe!

feelin' it!

My only critique is when it drops into the breakbeat tempo, the bassline sounds kinda similar to the one you made for Nazi Hunter, but it flows well.

Keep em coming!

Thanks guys for all the support! Love the feedback.

@Darren: Thank you for bumping this back up, and for your kind words. Means a lot!

@Roberto: Many thanks brotha! If it has your approval, I know I am headed in the right direction.

@Trox: You caught me dude.... good ear. I did use the same sound. I usually save any sounds I create to use in other tracks. I don't know that I would reuse a preset, but when I craft it I feel like I can get away with recycling... good ear, I am very impressed.
