Seriously, Nate D. needs to take a break for a while.
Drew Hall however, I can't say enough nice things about that kid. He's learned his lesson from the time we had to put him in his place. He doesn't trainwreck (Nate spun some horrible babyshoe a couple of times,) and instead of telling me he did good, he asks me if I think he did. He discussed with me how he wanted to play Serato with control CDs instead of internal, and Nate won't do it because he's too nervous. I told him if he wants to do something, to just do it.
Nate's holding that kid back. Drew's getting really good, and trying to advance, and Nate's ego keeps jumping out in front of him with it's arms in the air screaming for attention.
On a lighter note, Snow White is a chill gal, and it was fun talking to her about our complaints over the turntables after the show at the bar.
Thanks for having me out Marc, technical difficulties aside, and my being so anal about my playing that I was upset over them, I still had loads of fun and I was glad I could be there!
Thanks Redrum for the ride home!
