EVERYONE PLEASE READ! NEW DEMO!

ok I've been producing quite a bit lately and recently got signed to T3H Recordings. because of all that time I spent focusing on my producing my dj-ing lacked and fell behind quite a bit. I've kept up on my skills no doubt though. just haven't had the time to promote till recently. so I'm here to let you know I'm trying to get back into the groove of things and this mix is the start of it ;) hopefully you all like it ! it starts off very energetic then pushes to very dark and agressive as it nears the end :) give it a listen if you have the time and let me know what you think :) at the moment I don't have any web hosting space so I had upload this thing to rapidshare so if anyone gets confused or has questions with the download let me know :) also I'm at an in between spot with my scratching haha. I'm sure people like crisis can relate. I had some what slower scratching down but recently increased the speed I could do it at and got a bit more technical but, I can't nail it every time yet and I can't revert back to my old scratching style lol. so I was going to put scratching in this mix but it will have to wait till I can keep my accuracy and stamina up more lol. but again, definantly let me know what you think :) here's the link

yes... i can vouch for the in between spots... something you just gotta work through. may i make a suggestion? take the records you are going to scratch to, and slow them down to -8%... and start from there. then slowly make your way up the pitch scale, til you hit +8%... if you can tear it up at +8%, you will be extremely comfertable in the normal playing range. that is my secret tip reavealed for the day.

a demo every month? man, that is a lot of record upkeep, which is alot of money... good luck with that. gotta have a will of iron to pump em out like that. haven't had a chance to listen to this yet, as i am on my way out the door for work, but i will definelty listen tonight when i get home from school.

hey man thanks for the scratch tip I've been kinda doing that. I started with slower genres and started moving up but I didn't think of the pitch ;) so I'll give that shot :) yes a demo a month will be costly lol so we'll see, but that's my goal ;) thanks for the congrats man :) and I hope you enjoy the mix :)

ok, so i had a chance to listen... and i like. mixes are pretty clean, and the tracks seem to flow together pretty well. i also liked how you tried to keep it interesting by chopping sounds in... keeps things interesting. or at least it sounds like you were cutting sounds in, maybe that was part of the track?

i have been pretty busy, working and school. summer school is a bitch! other than that, just trying to learn more about music, like always. how about you?

if you ever want to kick it for a scratch session i am totally down, or even to work on some tracks... i got an access virus not long ago which i am still trying to learn how to use...

hey man thanks for taking the time to check out the mix :) yes I was doing some cuts in mix ;) keeps me from getting bored waiting for the mix spot haha. you know what I mean ;) glad you liked the mix :) what are you in college for again? I've been good, way busy now that I got signed. it's a lot of work, but worth it. I've been working at my job like crazy for the money to get better equipment and soon a laptop and of course been learning as much as possible about the music making world ;) oh! and hopefully getting a midi soon :) I'm in desperate need of one haha.

DJ Chi-Gu Kom
P.S. about kickin' it ;) sounds cool man, but alas I still don't drive haha. once I get my laptop and midi all set and good to go I'll be working on the car and license stuff :)

thanks again for the listen man

I know MK Ultra, he's a local DJ out in VA :D shared a couple drinks with him, stole some of his beer, you know the story :D
