You got through to me honestly. I am just a dj I am a starting to produce nothing to serious yet. It is hard work it takes time and dedication. It is fucked up not to put a tracklist im glad you see my end too. Im sorry for flipping out thank your for putting me in my place and giving me wisdom to better myself as an artist. i just want everyone to get over it. so what i didnt put the tracklist up, i didnt know this would happen since its my first cd and i didnt know that it was the rule. i just wish you guys would at least tell me before all the criticism came out along with the name calling... you guys dont know me so dont judge from this thread. i am a totally different person normally, as long as people dont start things first. i very reasonable as long as noone hates. next time pm me if you want to get things straight before you go out and try to criticize me in front of everyone

That's what I'm saying. It's not bad but it's just so boring. He needs some more energetic songs mixed in here and there.

Let me lay down some advice for you in all seriousness because I can tell you are just starting. Putting up a tracklist IS the rule. I know several major promoters in LA, SF and NYC that won't even LOOK at the mix without a tracklist and the mix must be 60-80 minutes long. These are rules. This is coming from 12 years of DJing and 16 years of being in the scene.

Secondly, you have to be humble as a mutha fucker for people to even give a fuck who you are. Someone talks shit on your mix, thank them for listening. The way you have come across this whole subject has seemed from a huge inflated ego point of view and this is why people are attacking you.

edit: More on tracklisting. I just realized that any time I've DJ'd on the radio, I've had to submit the tracklist of what I played to the station manager after my set.

My review:

Well, this mix was pretty much what I expected it would be. It was just "bang, bang, bang" seemingly with no soul, thought or progression. Everything was very repetitive with the exception of the Fred Pellichero and Calvetron tracks. Those were definitely some heaters. On the upside, aside from the first mix, most of the mixes were pretty clean. A few double taps here and there, some EQ issues and some really quick mixes in some parts, but overall pretty clean. You definitely have the foundation, I would just say to switch the shit up a bit.

Scores:
Mixing: 8/10
Progression: 2/10
Track selection: 5/10
Overall: 15/30= 2/10.

This mix gets a 5 from me.
