DJ AFS - Hustle v.1 (v.2 Coming Soon!)

Hey all here is my new mix cd I made to promote my monthly I'm starting with Sean Murray and Patrick Rhodes called Hustle.  The night is going to be very open format (Nu Disco/House/Indie/Old Disco) and eclectic as fuck.  The first one is going to take place on February 20th at the new Se7en on West located in the West St. Market downtown.   And it's free! I'll post something up in the events section when we have a poster made.

Anyways yeah the mix is a good representation of some of the stuff you can expect to hear.  Mostly nu disco and balearic with some rockish stuff thrown in for good measure.  I'm really excited about how it turned out and the excellent job Psilodude did of mastering it.

Weird I just tried it and it worked, try to right click and save it.

damn... you jump between styles on here like it's nothing! the mixes are very good harmonically as well... do you use mixed in key or do it by ear?


i ran mixed in key on my whole library of music, and had it sorted by keys... and then somhow it got all fucked up. i have been meaning to redo it but... i suffer from laziness when it comes to such tasks (i have like 90 gigs of music, took fuckin FOREVER last time!)

Thanks for the kind words man.

And yeah I use mixed in key. It's really taken my mixing to the next level, esp because I don't have time to get to totally know everything I download.  And for making mixtapes it really helps.  My buddy Zach just got Rapid Evolution and he swears it is better.  I want to check it out but don't feel like  re-analyzing my 40 gigs of EDM.

Volume 2 is going to be released at the HUSTLE 2 Year Anniversary on Feb 18th.  Better late than never!
