A mix i recorded about a year and a half ago, while in Houston. It starts out pretty broken up, almost junglish... then gets a little harder. The middle of the mix gets happy, and then trancey... and then finishes with a funky ass track.

For those into faster paced music...

thank you... i think you, besides my girlfriend, are the only one to notice... every one else just kinda, hears a bunch of noise i guess...

i am glad you like the mix, and you listen well enough to notice differences. most the improvement came when i moved to houston... i seriously spent like 6-12 hours EVERY SINGLE DAY, in my garage, just practicing... everyone thinks i am joking, or stretching the truth when i say that... but ask nona, she was there...

you still thinkin of doing that hooka lounge? i am down to come kick it and play, any day of the week...

Hell yeah, its currently in the making.

Yeah, i remember you back playing in steve and rachels backyard, using some kind of videogame vinyl for your scratching, the chops sounded pretty basic and repetitive, but now, its crazy sounding.

Recommend any dvds? I heard q-berts were pretty good.

aahhh, the basement bbq... i remeber those days. yes, i still had much sharpening of my skills to do. i would like to think it has progressed from repetitve noise...

as for dvd's... q-berts vol. 1 is cool. it's like i said in another post to jax... when i got this dvd, i had pretty much gotten most of the scratches he shows you under my belt... except the really hard ones... which i have gotten alot better at. so, if you don't know any scratches, or you wanna learn the super hard ones, it's a good video. the second one i didn't really like, and think it was a waste of money.

no video can teach you style though, which is a key element in making your scratches sound good, smooth, and fluid.

If people hear noise when they listen to you scratch they need to get their damn heads checked.
what if a whisper where louder than a scream?
