Brandon Plank - "Entweichen"

Give a listen here:  http://myspace.com/brandonplank

It's a mixture of the 909 techno of the mid-90s, but more smoothed out to have that 3am Wiggle/Swag Records feel.

The project is going to have remixes from Alland Byallo & DJ Jakub and will be released later this year.
- Anyone interested in remixing it, please drop a line.
- Any DJs that want a 320K MP3, please drop a line for a link you can DL.

Feedback is appreciated!

decent tune... it had a nice groove to it when the track got going in the middle... i just think it took a little too long to get there. i also think it would be good if you took the sound which you use as a lead, and make a melody out of it. not imediatly... but in the middle or towards the end... sort of like a bridge. you tease them with just the one note, and then for the bridge you play the whole melody, then go bak to just the one note... just a way to change it up...

i have also found that it sounds really good if you have a constant one note bass, to have the melody dance around the bass... or vice versa. if you have a funky bass line, then have it dance around a one or two note melody.

just a few questions for you... how long have you been producing? what do you use? do other people prouce with you, or just yourself? do you spin records?

Been making music for a bout 4 years and I either use Live 5.0 or I use Cubase with Reason rewired in(depending on what I want to do with samples).  I produce solo and yes, I spin records.

Its pretty cool, reminds me of Terry Francis' more darker/techy stuff.

Very slow intro =X. Not for me X| Pretty nice sound. I'd speed it up a bit, but I listened to your other tracks, and it sounds like you really go for the slow (compared to trance) beat. Cool beans XD
